The first photoset of the con, Friday's shoot started off by heading out back with all of the Friday photo targets, starting with Crimson's outfit.

When shooting a costume that's not set with modern architecture, it's rather tough getting good angles in the heart of downtown, oddly enough. Still, a nearby hillside provided a good backdrop, and we got a nice set in while trying not to destroy my camera on the first day.

For the record, pointy hats are tricky to compose into a photo.

Okay, wrong setting but a cute photo nonetheless...
