Every year, Anime north teams up with the J-rock staff and the Japanese Canadaian Cultural Centre to put on a dance. Not exactly the greatest place in the world for photos, but it's a fun chance to see people, hang out and dance a bit. Anyway, the light is a bit dodgy for these shots, on account of using a pretty impromptu light setup. Anyway, enjoy the pics... Final Thoughts: Well, this convinced me to upgrade to a more flexible and wireless system for late night shooting on location. Too much hassle with cords and not enough metering made this tough, but a learning experience. That and I learned if you have a massive secondary flash, you really need to add it to an umbrella or else it's not going to go where you want it. Live and learn, but future adventures in flash to come... |
