Mekou's Sakura costume really worked well in the small alcove in the restaurant attached to the hotel, and as usual we wandered in there for a nice set. We took more out in the open, but the subdued shadows worked a lot better than the harsh sunlight, so I kept it to this set of photos.

Thanks to Mekou for her awesome costume for the shoot, and enjoy the pics.

Yay for fall colours!

Okay, this shot wasn't really a keeper (it's really out of focus), but the presence of Domo-Kun reflected in the window really embodied the surreality that sometimes happens when you're shooting at a con. Nothing like monsters creeping into frame to completely change a shot [grin]
