This time, I remembered my flash.
Despite some hefty sleep deprivation getting there, I got a fair number of shoots in, both random and planned, at Anime Central. For the record, the Hyatt lobby is, by far, the nicest hotel for photos that I've been to for an anime convention. Of course, this observation is shared by many, so it's often a trick getting nice lines for photos, but I think I managed to get some pretty sweet photos I think.
Also, I managed to get some photos in with the Spoony Bards, a band that plays the cons, and got some nice portraits. Extra good.
Final thoughts: Well, I still really like ACen's location, photographically speaking. I was kinda dead for most of friday, unfortunately, something that I'll work to correct next year by taking more time off so I can go to the con without the sleep dep. Still, things went pretty well - we had some hiccups with the Spoony Bards shoot but I think they went well overall, as did the other shots taken around the convention. I'm not sure if I'll be back next year or not, but I hope to be. Thanks again everyone - it was fun, and hope to see you next year.
