For survival horror, the grim concrete that permeates the average convention centre is perfect fodder for photographs, and in this case we borrowed the stairwell of a nearby hotel for some photos. Some flash, some available light and some grain and soft focus made this a fun and kind of a tricky one to do well, which included bringing a large flash rig on a light stand into the stairwell, lots of tripod and dealing with a gaggle of curious onlookers watching much of the proceedings through one of the emergency exit door windows.

As usual, Becky was a good sport, enduring dust and endless re-takes to try and get stuff right. In some cases, we never did, but in others, I think we managed to get some pretty neat shots in. For the record, however, focusing a Lensbaby in the dark is something best left to a lot of practice in advance, and hopefully I'll take better advantage of that lens in future shoots. For now, thanks to Becky, and enjoy the pics...
