While off to the west coast for a week I spent a weekend at Cos & Effect, a costuming-centric con at UBC. Nice locations, small con, chill vibe, can't complain. In between random staffing duties I managed to get a few photos in as well.
Photo-wise, it was a bit of a learning experience with the new camera - I literally bought the camera less than a week before going to Vancouver, and some of the lighting/color was a bit off from me not used to the slightly different workflow and levels shooting with it
