Done as an experiment in lighting, I organized this shoot to try and make use of my studio flashes. With some trial and error, I managed to get several sets of people photos, with this one probably being the most intensive.

Amanda's outfit really demanded good lighting and in indoor look to really fit the theme, so I think this fit the bill quite nicely. I also didn't overuse the soft lighting, because the look deserved a bit of a dramatic edge to it. Overall I think it turned out quite well.

Probably the most meticulously-staged photo I've ever done, lighting wise. Getting Amanda well-lit but keeping a candle flame in frame took a bit of fun, but it was worth it.
