I own some starter-level studio flashes, and to be honest, I've underused them thusfar. Saturday was a chance to experiment with them and try and use them creatively while getting some good photos (hopefully) in the process. Well, I think both quests were successful. Some costumes, some headshots, some failed photos, some good ones - altogether a good day out. Anyway, Highlights will be up ASAP - for now, enjoy the splash images...
Final Thoughts: Well, this shoot really represented something different - a shoot where flashes were not a necessary evil, but actually a tool to make the photos better. All in all, I'm really happy with how it turned out, and hope to figure out another backdrop to make this happen again. Thanks again everyone, both people in the shoots and to Crimson for helping out and making this a great shoot.
