Kariya Park PhotoshootJanuary 27, 2008 - Mississauga, OntarioBack to Events | Back Home |
Okay, so our mainstay photopark is back again for a photoshoot, only this time it's in the middle of winter to take advantage of newly-fallen snow. And of course, we paid careful attention to the weather and dressed accordingly... ...just kidding - the folks wore an assortment of weather-inappropriate gear for some rather frigid moments. That being said, they huddled for warmth, and it was a fairly nice day out, so no digits or limbs had to be amputated and only mild post processing was needed to remove the blue skin from the cold [grin]. Kinda minimalist in prep due to gear and weather restrictions, but thankfully fallen snow works really well as a reflector, giving pretty even lighting all around. Anyway, I think there's some nice shots to come from this set. Final thoughts: Well, it was a simple shoot, technique-wise. but nice costumes and nice scenery goes a long way. The frostbite and trench foot may be gone, but the memories remain. Thanks again everyone. |
