After Saturday at Con-G, I headed out with Novaraven and crew to London Ontario for a shoot with some Black Butler cosplayers. Unfortunately our original cool location fell though, so we had to improvise a bit...
...then the worst winter storm of the year hit. Well, I know about making lemons from lemonade, but the proverb doesn't say much about snow, so we had to improvise some more and risk the elements for some cool photos. For fun, notice the difference between the first two and the last three galleries in terms of the amount of snow on the ground.
Okay, another area of challenge here was the proposed use of a graveyard, something I'm antsy about because frankly, people have their loved ones buried there and though I don't feel the dead exactly mind, the living do. A little research found a historic graveyard - it's on the tourist maps, and they even offer photo tours, so I felt that might be a reasonable place to take some photos while still treating the area with respect.
So add the weirdness of shooting in a blizzard and the weirdness of shooting in a graveyard for several galleries, and you get some pretty funky shoots, with some nice results. Enjoy the highlights below. Thanks to everyone involved for the crazy attention to being so willing to shoot in the cold in often-not-warm outfits, and enjoy the photos.
