Youmacon's kind of the home away from home for many of the Toronto convention crew. Far enough away for us not to staff it, close enough to easily get to it. As such, it's a pretty fun con, and there's lots of familiar faces. A con that has grown rather massively of the last couple of years, Youmacon found itself at a new location. Gone was the Death Star sculpture, in was a swanky hotel with elevators that broke all the time, a mall that didn't know what to do with us and generally, some nice backdrops for photos.
Maybe when I'm less lazy I'll provide more commentary, or even a con report, but for now, here's the splash page of photoshoots to come, hopefully soon.
Final Thoughts: Well, this was the last con of the year, and I say it ended well - finally getting the hang of using flash the way I want to and getting the right looks indoors and out. I'm happy to see my stuff progressing, and hopefully other people are too [grin]. Thanks everyone for taking part, and see you next year.
